Shopping

Going to St Thomas for the first time next year with 6 first time cruisers. Some girls definitely want to shop in st Thomas. How close is the shopping (The good ahopping areas) to the port/where you get off the boat? I want to take an excursion to St. John’s (trunk bay) if possible or do something on the water and a few others (who’ve never been on a cruise before) want to take a shopping excursion (which is only 20 dollars). So, I was thinking maybe we could do both and just walk to shopping on our own?

Anyways those who have been, is the shopping areas within walking distance? What is the best shopping area in st Thomas?

Thanks for all your help! I could never do all this research without you guys!

There are shopping areas at both docks, but town has more variety including boutiques like La Gab at Palm Passage and Tropical Creations in Royal Dane Mall.

Most island tours include a stop in town for shopping plus some beach time so you should ask for one of those tours.
