NCL, Port or Starboard

The Majesty stays docked at St George for three days with the portside facing the island and starboard facing the water. As you head into the channel (around noon I think) go to the starboard side as the locals will be on the jetty welcoming the ship. They fire a canon and ring a bell.

for the Crown I would book Portside as you do not want to be Starboard in Hamilton facing Front Street - the main drag - at night with the loud music from the bars - especially in a balcony. Plus the view will be obstructed for many of the cabins that are starboard. It is nice to be Port on the Crown facing KW and ST Georges - no real view blockage.
