Has anyone been to St Thomas recently?

We are headed there in a couple weeks. In the past we’ve done Meagan’s Bay a few times and taken the ferry to Trunk Bay. Looking for something different, a good beach day but not sure what’s up and running since the hurricane. Thanks!

Not sure what you mean by "up and running" but St Thomas has recovered enough to accept cruise ship passengers. The sky tram started running again the beginning of March. I can't speak for the beaches, but I believe they are recovered. The only things that are not open are a few of the resorts that took a good brunt of the storm...the Marriott for sure. From the top of the sky tram you can see a lot of tarps covering roofs yet, but those look mostly like homes. There is a building at the port that still doesn't have a roof, but doesn't have any effect on the business' in the port itself. which all are open. Oh, another business that took the brunt of the storm is the Butterfly Gardens at the port, and that restaurant on the pier is trashed I think its Senior Frogs, but it looked like it was closed before the storms.
