As stated earlier, I decide with my wife's approval to stay on the ship today.

The skies are cloudy, though it is warm, so we headed to the Serenity deck for about 2 hours, before we try out the BBQ.

The Serenity's Jacuzzis have 2 people in one, the other is empty. The loungers are 2/3's empty.

After lunch, we head back to our cabin, take a nap, do some packing and decide where to go for our last dinner.

We already have our #1 luggage tags, and letter informing us the time and place where platinums go tomorrow for disembarkation.

We are looking forward to going home for the first time in 30 days.

We wake up at 6:30am, and got right to cleaning up, dressing up, and were walking out our cabin door at 7:00am.

We decided we'd take our 3 bags ourselves, to the 7:15am Platinum/Diamond meet up in the center ship MDR on deck 3.

When we get off the elevator on deck 3, the Platinum/Diamonds with their luggage just started to leave, so we joined the line, and were off the ship, through Customs, and waiting for our shuttle to park n go by 7:20am!

We were driving out of park n go onto I-595 at 7:41am!

Amazing!!

We spent the ride home talking about the amazing journey we took, 29 days on 2 great ships!

We definitely could see differences, mostly small ones, between the 2 ships!

Of course, these are only our opinions!-))

Glory vs Conquest

Better overall condition of ship=Conquest

Better overall service=Glory

Better overall food quality=Glory

Better show theater entertainment=a tie cause Conquest has Flick, but the other shows are better on the Glory!

Better Casino assortment of games=Conquest!

Final summary, we cruised 3 weeks on both ships, 3 weeks in April on the Glory, 2 weeks in January, and 1 week in April on the Conquest, we both enjoyed the Glory slightly more! (Slightly!)

But as things go, and crews change, the Conquest could win out next time, who knows!?

So its home to rest for 13 days, then we'll be driving back to Miami for a 14 day B2B on the Vista!

This trip will be, a south (Grand Turk, La Romana, Curacao, Aruba), then west (Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, Cozumel) Caribbean journey!,

We'll try our best to answer whatever questions you might have while we're on the Vista!

Until then, Happy Cruising!

We were on the same cruise and like OP we are Platinum. The difference was received the Carnival headsets as our gift. I went to

guest services and traded one of them for the blanket that was give out previously.

Internet speed was very good the first few days of this cruise for a Carnival Ship, but since it has been very, very slow.

It takes me 10 minutes to log into cruise critic each morning, and in the afternoon or evening its more like 15 minutes plus.

I will say the Carnival Hub is pretty good, gives you a lot of details each day on what's going on, including the MDR menu that night, excursions you can purchase, etc..

Thanks for this review! We are doing the 8 day in October. Can you tell me which internet package you picked? The top level or one of the others? Trying to get feedback on speed overall for the plans.
