Taxi Rate to Magen’s Bay Beach?

This may sound silly, but I am trying to estimate how much cash I am going to need for each port for my family of 6. I understand that taxi’s charge by the person. If you have taken a taxi from the port to Magen’s Bay Beach can you share the rate per person?

 

Also, does the bar at the beach take credit cards or is it cash only?

There are 2 cruise ports so plan on maximum $10 per person each way. They do accept credit cards at Magens but bring cash just in case. Always a good idea to have cash when traveling.

The fare from Havensight was $8.00 in January. That is pp and one way. You also pay to enter Magen’s and if memory serves that was $5 pp. We just sat on beach, but chairs, umbrellas, etc were available to rent and food for purchase .

I’ll let you do the final math for your group.

Just got back & they charge $10 each way per person! (Which is REALLY high based on the fact that they pile you into an open air truck with ~15+ people) So, plan for $20 pp and then an additional $5 pp entrance fee into Megan’s Bay

 

Also, if you rent chairs and umbrellas, it’s a bit pricey and lunch/drinks there is a teeny bit pricier than other places
