6/14/06 Crown Princess Maiden Question

Wondering if anyone has been on a maiden voyage to the caribbean, and will this time of the year have more younger people or can I pretty well expect the family and older atmosphere I got on our Alaskan cruise on the Saphire?

School's out...there'll be lots of families with kids on the ship.

There are a few roll calls started already for the Crown, check them out as it is very helpful. Because this is a nine day cruise I think you'll find a somewhat older crowd. Out of our group of probably 9 families we have a nine year old and then my son who will be 17. I think there are 2 more teenagers too but I can't remember off the top of my head.

I would expect a lot of families and probably a somewhat younger crowd than you saw on your Alaska cruise. Depending on how the cruise has sold, you might also run into many Princess employees and invited guests for the first cruise. But, you do get to experience that "new ship smell", and there's nothing quite like that.
