Yay! My price dropped again

When viewing the price drop is the cruise line considering the fare rate before or after port fees and taxes to be considered the difference as an actual "drop"

the cruise fare before taxes. whatever that fare is.

 

if the port taxes drop between now and sail date, you will get an on board credit automatically credit to your account. this explains the mystery 5/10 dollar random on board credit people see in their e docs a few days from sail date.

I just check every morning, I had another $20 drop today. So far I have $250 in drops, my mothers dropped today as well, she has $296 in drops. I've had my cabin drop 4 times, hers has dropped only 2, but she ultimately has the highest savings.
