How Does a Casino Credit Work?

Just booked for November, after receiving a special rate and it included a $100 casino credit. Do they just load it to your account? Just haven't got this before and wondered.

I am assuming you got the email confirmation?

If that is the case you just go to the casino cash cage and they take care of it.

No, I didn’t get an email. Just have the flyer they sent me and that’s the promo code I gave when I called to book. The rate was a special casino rate for the cabins, and it says it includes $100 casino cr. I’m going to keep the flyer and take on cruise, just in case.

got it. You have a sweet deal.

I haven't gotten the casino promo code that I have been able to put to use. But usually, you just go to the casino to get your cash.

Wise idea to keep the flyer with you, but if it's anything like when I got my casino cash (no promo just a discount), when I went and showed my card, I was greeted with "we've been waiting for you" and a nice smile. No problem at all.

enjoy your cruise :D

We purchased a casino promotion and once onboard, were denied the promised free play. We brought the letter that explains the offer but were told that the promised free play was applied to the price of our cruise. Simply not true. The response from the onboard customer service was, "it's not our fault" and we were unable to collect the free play and avoided the casino for the rest of the cruise. After the cruise was over, HAL offered us onboard credit on our next cruise as an apology; however, we are treating this as just another promise from HAL that we have no reason to believe. Trust me, we will not return.

WOW! I don't blame you.

Mine was by a flyer in my mailbox on board. Contacted them and was told I qualified for free cash. I printed off the email to be safe, but it wasn't necessary.

they were waiting for me.

It was the first time I had done this (and probably the last since we don't cruise often enough now) but it was seamless.

I'm really sorry to hear this :(

I have gotten letters pertaining to casino cash on my next cruise. There was a number to call (which my TA handled) to have it applied to my cruise. I brought the letter with me on that cruise and got my money at the casino cashier window. I have also gotten an e-mail and did the same thing with no problem.
