DrivesLikeMario Posted July 7, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2018 Just wondering if this is possible. Did a search to no avail. Can we buy an unassigned NCC for RCI while onboard Azamara? If so, does anyone know what the OBC is for doing this and if it's applied to the future cruise? Thanks for the help! :)
BBMacLaird Posted July 8, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2018 I believe you can but let me check on the particulars this week. Not sure about OBC aspect.
critterchick Posted July 9, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 9, 2018 The OBC for an uncommitted cruise is pitiful. We bought one when the program first changed, and are getting a whopping $25 for a 7 night cruise in December. That's total, not each. I recommend that you just book a random cruise, making sure that your deposit is refundable (all full suite deposits are nonrefundable, so book a junior suite or lower category). It's a $200 deposit and you can then select a cruise at your leisure when you get home. Your OBC will be $100 for a 7 night cruise, not sure where the break point is for $200 - maybe 15 nights. BBMacLaird Posted July 10, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 10, 2018 Sorry for the delay! Yes a guest onboard an Azamara vessel can book either an Open or Confirmed RCI booking. Attached is a screen shot which highlights the OBC values of RCI's Open and Confirmed booking program.
