Hop On/Hop Off Bus procedure

I am seeing where travelers are obtaining tickets for the hop on/hop off bus prior to arrival.

 

I was in Barcelona in 2007 (not really knowing much prior) and we walked over to a ticket station and just got on. Can we still do that in Palma and Barcelona or must we pre-order tickets.

You do not need to pre purchase your HOHO tickets online - you can purchase them in Barcelona and/or Palma. Online orders usually receive a discount on the ticket price whereas purchasing on the spot, payment is full price. Our hotel in BCN also sold the HOHO tickets in addition to the TI office and the HOHO bus itself.

You can buy HOHO bus tickets on the day on any of the buses throughout Europe. You can also pay by CC. We've done many and Barcelona and Dublin have been the best.
