Nwvp Posted August 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2018 How trustworthy is Alitalia airlines. I have a 11:45 flight out of Rome, can I fly out of Athens at 6am that morning, land at 7am in Rome (time change) or should I book the night before... Or any other ideas? epixx Posted August 4, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2018 Would these be separate tickets? Is your arrival at your destination time-sensitive? For example, are you trying to catch a cruise? Where is the flight from Rome going? Somewhere else in Europe? Are there subsequent flights the same day to your destination? What would be your backup plan if you miss the 1145 flight from Rome? Yes; you certainly can fly out of Athens at 0600, but answers to the above questions will help determine whether or not this is a good decision. marazul Posted August 4, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2018 (edited) Also check Aegean Air https://en.aegeanair.com/ Whichever line you use, think of flying the previous evening. You never know about weather or other delays. Edited August 4, 2018 by marazul

iancal Posted August 17, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 17, 2018 We very much prefer Aegean to Alitalia. And their flights are typically less expensive.
