shipsealand Posted August 29, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2018 The ship excursion Lexington, Concord, Harvard have been wait listed since 6 weeks prior to start of cruise. What's going on? Besides local tours are better price so would like suggestions on catching one that is easily accessible from the port.
138east Posted August 29, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2018 What date? What ship? What hours in port? Are there specific private tours you are considering?
Nitemare Posted August 29, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 29, 2018 Have you visited Boston before? If not, I'd see Boston on a port stop here before getting on a bus and leaving town

138east Posted August 30, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 30, 2018 Here's a current thread from the East Coast Board that might be of interest - https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2658806&highlight=Lexington Oct 13 is a peak time for fall foliage. Not at all surprised that tours to Lexington and Concord are booked. I live in the area and over the years have seen huge numbers of tour buses parked at the North Bridge the second week in October. shipsealand Posted September 16, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted September 16, 2018 Great news. Princess finally notified us that we made it onto the tour from being waitlisted. They must have gotten enough PAX's on the wait list to make up another full or nearly full bus (and planning on selling more at a big profit since this is a popular excursion).
