We'll be returning home to San Antonio from FLL on 17 August and have a 10AM flight. Going to do early checkout/carry own bags off, the 10AM flight shouldn't be an issue correct? We've cruised out of FFL before just not in the last 5 years. Just curious what this is early debarkation.

If all goes well you should be fine...We've had no problems getting off HOTS quickly and early.

Express Departure starts at 6:30am...get in line early carrying/managing all your own bags.

Thank you. I didn't think so, but just wanted to get a few thoughts. Prices skyrocket after the 10AM flight (plus a connection). We've only had issues with debarkation at the Port of Galveston. The last time out of FFL it only took 30 mins or so when we did self checkout.

We have done the early debarkation out of FLL many times and were always at the airport by 8:30am and the gate by 8:45. It helps to have trusted traveler and of course, arriving very early at the airport - there just are not the lines that come later when all the cruisers arrive at the airport.
