I will be traveling on a cruise with my family (12 of us) and visiting San Juan. We would like to go to Vivo Beach club for the day but the shore excursion is very expensive. Does anyone know if you can go there by taxi and just pay a day pass rate to get in and use the facilities?

Most tours are closed to the public when ships arrive but not sure. I just posted in another thread about a new beach club package https://puertoricocruiseexcursions.com/excursion/san-juan-beach-break/

If you do go please let us know how it was, will be in San Juan in October again.......

Vivo Beach club is a private club and membership is quite expensive. As far as I know, the only way to enjoy the facilities are either by membership or by excursion. Even for us local, promotions to access the Club as a non-member are extremely rare. So no, I don't think you can just show up and ask for a day pass.

They finally got back to me after I messaged them twice on social media and said $40pp which includes a towel and a beach chair.  There are cheaper options so we opted for something else.

$40.00 for only chairs and towels is really not worth it.....
