welove2cruise2014 Posted September 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2018 On the Dawn, Escape, Gem, or Pearl specifically: Do the mini suites have a curtain you can pull across to separate the bed from the living area? We had that in our recent SF suite on the Dawn and loved that feature, since we had our toddler in the pack n play in the living area. (And yes, I understand the mini suite is really just a glorified balcony cabin and doesnt come w suite perks!) Thanks! Mistizoom Posted September 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2018 The Dawn mini-suites did in 2013, not sure if the recent refurb changed that. The Escape mini-suites do not have a curtain.
Jack Staff Posted September 18, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2018 Our mini-suit on Jade had a curtain. Good size cabin too.
KimboJam Posted September 19, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 19, 2018 Just bring a couple of magnetic hooks since the ceiling is also made of metal and a dark shower curtain and make your own room divider so to speak
gymbomb Posted September 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 19, 2018 Dawn and Jewel class ships do. Epic and newer do not.
welove2cruise2014 Posted September 19, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted September 19, 2018 Dawn and Jewel class ships do. Epic and newer do not. Thanks! Interesting, I wonder why. Seems to make sense to have one there! Along these lines... how can you tell if the bed or sofa is next to the balcony in these cabins? Any markers on deck plans? Or am I better off looking for actual videos of specific staterooms? Sent from my SM-G930T using Forums mobile app

On the Dawn and Jewel class ships all balcony and mini suite rooms have the sofa next to the balcony.
