ParkerIngle Posted September 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2018 We are going last week of October and had registered for Celebrity's excursion of a day at Pelican Palm Cove. From what I read, it seems like maybe I should save our money, cancel the excursion, and just go on our own to Sandcastle for a similar day. What we are looking for: beach that you can snorkel from, beach chairs with umbrellas, and lunch spot. Does anyone recommend Sandcastle as being just fine for that instead of Pelican Palm Cove - it sure would save some money! Thanks!

I don't care for Palms, it's too far from the pier and too expensive for the same experience. Save the money and go to Sandcastle.

msthomas57 Posted November 2, 2018 #4 Share Posted November 2, 2018 drake2014 where would you suggest for Sunday the 11th (next weekend) since the pool is under construction at the Sandcastle? We don't snorkel, just looking for a nice place to be beach bums with cool water to 'refresh' ourselves and good food and drinks.
drake2014 Posted November 21, 2018 #5 Share Posted November 21, 2018 Sorry I didn't get to this in time to help you! I was just there yesterday and still had a wonderful time despite the pool being closed.
