cozumel beach and snorkel

No beach with sand and waves will offer good snorkeling - the sand/waves cloud the water and there are no rocks/reefs for the little fish to thrive in. :(

Paradise Beach offers great facilities, a nice beach and a HUGE pool - $3 admission/chair rental and they have good food, drinks and service.

Money Bar offers good snorkeling from the shore (you enter the water via steps) but no beach or pool. Good facilities, lockers, rental gear, food, drink, service and lots of loungers and chairs. No admission fee.

You could taxi to the Money Bar (about $12), snorkel for an hour or two, enjoy some drinks/snacks, and then cab to Paradise Beach for the rest of the day. Taxi back to your ship from PB will be about $17.

We have done this previously but went to an AI club instead of PB; Mitsugirly (a frequent poster) has a photo intensive review linked in her signature when she did the exact same independent tour of both Money Bar and Paradise Beach. Check it out! ;)
