Miami Hotel Recommendation

FWIW, we do the Hilton Bentley on South Beach, wander up Ocean Drive for dinner at A Fish Called Avalon... kinda gets our cruise started a day early... Taxi ride is 10 minutes to the port.

Happens I'm a Hilton man and the location is superb... at a price of course.

Hampton Inn/Brickell in downtown Miami or Inter-Continental are both great. No complaints. Used Uber for Hampton and taxi for IC.

Embassy Suites at the airport is where we stay.  Shuttle from the airport to the hotel, manager's happy hour, and breakfast is included.  They offer a shuttle to the cruise terminal, believe it is $10 or $15 per person.  I like to take Uber so I can leave earlier than the shuttle, I can't remember what the cost is.  Last time we were there, Carnival had a really large group staying there.  The pool is nice, too.
