KurtMo Posted October 22, 2018 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2018 Will be off the NCL Getaway in a few weeks, and have the day to kill before an evening flight out of MIA. Any good ideas for a tour or day-pass or similar? We'll need to have luggage handled / stored since we'll be off the ship in the morning. Would appreciate any experiences / ideas. FLLconcierge Posted October 22, 2018 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2018 Why not consider a tour to the Everglades? You will have the perfect time for a day trip out there and include a nice airboat ride. There are a few companies that will store your luggage or actually allow you to bring it along with you. It's an amazing place that everyone needs to see at least once. The airboat is a "bucket-list" check off. Wynwood is also a fun neighborhood to explore and kill some time but not sure what you would do with your bags.
JohninDC Posted October 22, 2018 #3 Share Posted October 22, 2018 1. Taxi/Uber/Lyft to South Beach and store your bags at the Luggage Lounge. Then explore SB (boozy brunch, beach, people watching, art deco architecture, etc.) or ride one of the hop-on-off bus tours. In the afternoon collect your bags and either use the Airport Flyer bus (about $3 each) or taxi/Uber/Lyft to get to MIA 2. Some resorts and larger hotels offer day passes - tip them to store your bags while you enjoy the pool, spa, beach and other facilities. www.resortpass.com is one source to check Have a great cruise! Our bags were picked up in Port Miami and delivered at the airport when we were ready to check in (myjetservice.com, customerservice@myjetservice.com). I need to do some homework on My Jet service for an upcoming trip - do you recall what you paid per bag?
