Where can you find such value for a vacation?

Recommended Posts

About to embark on another cruise vacation next month on the T......and thought about the value for the dollar!

This cruise is costing $464.00 a week (all inclusive of port / taxes etc.) which equates to $66.28 a day OR $2.76 an hour OR $0.046 cents a minute, it's hard to believe that you get UNLIMITED Food (Restaurants, Pizza, Snacks, Room Service), UNLIMITED Entertainment (Vegas Shows, Comedians, Bands etc.), UNLIMITED Day-time Activities and Facilities (pools, jacuzzi, sports decks, game shows etc.), UNLIMITED Night-time Activities (Casino, Lounges, Disco, Piano Bars, Captain's Cocktail Party etc.), GREAT Itineraries and MORE!! The list goes on and on.......

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY (for Skippy and I)....You get to meet the BEST fellow CRUISERS (from these boards).....from ALL "walks of life", professions, nationalities etc.

What more can you say.....but JUST HAFTA keep on cruisin baby!

How right you are!

I just checked into a 4-day Orlando trip (I'd really like to go to EPCOT one 'mo time.), and that four days would cost me almost THREE times what my last 5-day Holiday cruise did! icon_eek.gif

Guess I'll stick to cruisin!

Don and I *tried* to plan a land based driving vacation for May. We couldn't find a nice hotel for under $120 per night, gas prices are almost $2 per gallon. A 1/2 way decent meal is $50, entertainment would be at least $50 per day if not more! It's just craziness.

Someday, we'll try another type of vacation, I'm sure. But for now, cruising is what we both LOVE, our kids love it too, and the price is right!
