Dock in Aruba

Does AOS dock in Aruba or do we tender in?

In Aruba the ship docks. There is room for about 5 ships in Aruba ( 2 voyager Class ships and 3 smaller ships.

Yes, there are lots of room for ships to dock in Aruba, it is one of the best set up ports I've ever been to actually. It is my favorite!

We are on AOS next January. Does anyone know which side AOS docks to in Aruba - in other words, which side of the ship is facing the pier. Our TA claims that the port side will offer better views on this itinerary, but I'm looking for some first-hand knowledge.

I have been there twice on Hal. Both times when we docked, starboard faced the port.

Portside on the ship faced the ocean.

 

Same goes for the other ships that were docked those 2 days.

We were on AOS on 1/8-1/15. Our cabin was on the port side. In Aruba and Curacao, we were on the dock side. In St. Thomas and St. Maarten, we were not.
