Royal pulled out of Santiago until October

Just received notice from our TA that our port stop in April to Santiago de Cuba is being changed.  When I did a search, all of Royal's stops to Santiago have been removed until October of this year.

Any idea as to what happened?

No idea, but our November 2018 trip had a 30 minute tender ride. We were told the dock was being repaired, and should be finished in the Spring. No sign of work near the dock, however.

A Miami Herald article notes that the former owners of the docks have brought legal action against the Cuban government for stealing their property after the Revolution. An old US law allows mega damages for using stolen property in Cuba without a license.
