There is a site you can go to and do a 'price check' which shows you the availability by category. It includes the room number. Does anyone know what it is? Thanks. (trying to determine how many empty rooms on our cruise..)

You will find that each of the above and all other online booking engines only show about 9 cabin numbers for each cat. That is by no means all the available cabins. Plus many [most?] TA's block a number of cabins for potential group sales, these cabins will show as booked but on final payment day the TA's must pay for all their blocked cabins or release them back to the cruiseline. So 71 days out a category could be showing full and 69 days out the same cat. could have 100 cabins available.

If you call a Carnival PVP they might tell you the total number of cabins available on the ship, but no specifics.
