Reduced deposit sales?

The deposit for a non-refundable category of Junior Suite and below, booked onboard, would be $100 per person.

Yes, you are right, but in my case since I would be booking under European rules anyway I wouldn't have access to that, so it let me lock in the cruise with a small enough deposit that I could simply cancel and rebook in the event of a really significant price drop.

At some point I suppose I should make the effort to find a reliable US TA since I keep reading about folks taking advantage of price drops. I'm just nervous about giving up control of my booking to someone who's so far away. :classic_sad:
