NCL Sun cider brand

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

We traveled on NCL Sun Santiago to San Francisco in 2018 (I think!) and have forgotten the name of the ciders they offered on board..... One in particular we ordered from the sportsbar was very good, not too sweet.

My DH thinks it was a Canadian one, maybe???? The brand was difficult to get in Australia, i did manage to get one carton but now we have forgotten the name

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Raema

We have had both Strongbow and Angry Orchard and while we prefer Strongbow the Angry Orchard is acceptable.   BUT once when they ran out of Strongbow they had to get a South African "cider".  I had one and had an interesting discussion with the F&B manager.  I don't know the name but if you are offered one refuse, it was the worst drink I think I have ever drunk!!

We also have had a cruise where they ran out of Lindeman's Bin 90 Moscato.  They had two substitutes, one was drinkable the other absolutely terrible.

Beware when a ship runs out of what you like and have to buy at funny overseas ports!!!
