CC Meet & Greet on Embarkation

I have always been in an SS category and have experienced having a Celebrity escort take me to my appointed cabin. I am wondering if the same applies to the CC. cabins. Will be travelling to Europe in May/06.

 

I was fortunate enough to secure an aft cabin on this trip.

 

Just curious if the procedure is the same.

Escorts do not start until the cabins are ready so if you board early you will not be escorted. Last week, I did see people being escorted to CC cabins after 1300 when the announcement was made the cabins were ready.

It doesn't matter what your category is to have an escort to your cabin. They will have the white gloved escorts and the trays of champagne & orange juice available upon boarding as soon as all the cabins are ready to be occupied....as Flagger mentioned. If you board early you will miss this little amenity, which is nice, but I'd rather be on the ship and find my own way to our cabin. After studying the deck plans most folks should know how to reach their new home! :D

Just an FYI, they did offer us Champagne and or OJ or Mimosas upon boarding they just did not start the escort until after 1300.
