ljpjr Posted January 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2006 Just wondering what the average cost of a mixed drink would be,or if there is somewhere I can see a list of the drinks and cost thx:cool:
wrp96 Posted January 19, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2006 If you don't get it in a souvenir glass, and you don't specify a premium brand of alcohol, between 5 and 7 dollars. Most of the drinks I got on Rhapsody were about $5.25 including the 15% tip.

wrp96 Posted January 20, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2006 Just be aware that it may be more depending on what you order and if you get it in a souvenir glass. Also, before we left the Galveston port on Rhapsody, drinks were a lot more expensive than they were the rest of the week.
Merion_Mom Posted January 20, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 20, 2006 B E W A R E T H E C O S M O If you like Cosmos, brace yourself - $9 plus. Regular drink-of-the-day Strawberry Daquiri, hold the souvenir glass = $3.95 :) (But I GOTTA have a Cosmo every now and then!)
Pixiedoodle Posted January 20, 2006 #6 Share Posted January 20, 2006 We seemed to spend $5.95 plus tip for an average drink...BBC's and margaritas!
wrp96 Posted January 20, 2006 #7 Share Posted January 20, 2006 Me too Carol, but I'm picky about how they are made. I hardly ever get them on a cruise as a result. I usually just drink Crown or Champagne. Although the Strawberry Daiquiris are very good.
Merion_Mom Posted January 20, 2006 #8 Share Posted January 20, 2006 They are just SO CRUISE-Y, Wrona, ya know what I mean? Boy, for a second there, I thought that you said "Crown AND Champagne." YUK. :D

winncove Posted January 20, 2006 #10 Share Posted January 20, 2006 Finally figured out on the Mariner last Oct. that drinks in a plain glass were only $.50 less than in the pretty souvenir glasses people collect! By that time the bars no longer had the fancy glasses!

Irish90Cruiser Posted January 20, 2006 #12 Share Posted January 20, 2006 Are there drink cards for bar drinks like there are for soda?
*erika* Posted January 20, 2006 #13 Share Posted January 20, 2006 Are there drink cards for bar drinks like there are for soda? They used to have a drink card, where you would have the card punched, but I believe they no longer offer anything like that. The soda cards are for all the fountain soda you can drink (3+ sodas a day or else it's not worth it!)

kbt2 Posted January 20, 2006 #16 Share Posted January 20, 2006 I drink Cosmo's as well..and always get one everynight before dinner at the martini bar (my little treat)...the casino can't make them worth a hoot. Very tasty in Martini Bar...go figure! :)
Merion_Mom Posted January 20, 2006 #17 Share Posted January 20, 2006 Yeah, it's a bummer. I tried to use my "buy one, get one free" C & A coupon on cosmos, and they wouldn't take it, because that's a *PREMIUM* drink. :(
WhiteSoxFan Posted January 20, 2006 #18 Share Posted January 20, 2006 Anyone know the going rate for beer? Last time I drank Foster's oil cans, they were double the domestic price for a little more that double the beer.
