ejnsb Posted February 24, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2019 (edited) For those that have disembarked in Barcelona, can we make the 9:30 train? Any thoughts on what percentage of passengers sail out of Barcelona vs Civarevecchia? On the Norwegian Epic in September. Twickenham Posted February 24, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2019 I have not sailed out of Barcelona, but I have taken the train from Barcelona to Paris. While you do need a bit more time than usual for most European trains due to their x-raying baggage, we're still only talking maybe 30 minutes before departure. As it's probably only 20 minutes from the cruise terminal to Sants, you need to be off the ship and into a taxi by say 8:30ish, which should be very doable. wheezedr Posted February 25, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2019 On our cruise I believe a larger number of passengers came and went at Civitavecchia but that should not have an impact on your getting to the 9:30 train. As noted above even with baggage x-ray you should have plenty of time. Debark between 8:00 and 8:15 if you have lots of luggage to find.
