Upgrading to Premium from Classic - Cost ?

Has anyone recently upgraded to Premium from Classic on any of the Celebrity ships (we are booked to sail on Equinox)  - how much did this cost ?   Is it offered on joining the ship ?   We you able to negotiate a discount ?

Upon boarding go to any bar and ask for the upgrade the cost is $10 PPPD plus 18% for gratuities, the barman that do it for you will get a extra $$, I have not heard of discounts on board only on flash sale days 30% ($7).
