GTY Cabin Assignment on NEW SHIP????

We booked a XB Balcony GTY on Spectrum of the Seas from Dubai (2nd paid passenger cruise). I am absolutely fine waiting to get assigned at the dock as we board....but I was wondering if others on NEW BUILDS had gotten guarantee cabin assignments before then? How long beforehand? Or has your experience been they were shuffling cabins until the very last minute so you never got a cabin until you checked in? Again, I am fine either way....just curious.

The GTY assignment is no different for a new build, it can come at any time between booking and check in.

I don't think that being a new build has any effect on when a GTY gets assigned.
