Nieuw Amsterdam Library

There is also a Lincoln Center stage.  The library is not a traditional, formal library.  There are bookshelves in the Crow's Nest that have mainly travel-type books.

These photos give you a better sense:

The library on her sister ship Eurodam had only a few books in the cubicles and the space was limited to one side of the crows nest, sharing it with the EXC shore excursion desk and much of the space taken over by large interactive electronic map tables for each port which I found to be 100% useless. One in fact had been converted to a puzzle table.

Any noisy activities (use of microphone for trivia etc) in  the Crows Nest intrude on any library quiet time, so watch your daily schedule closely.. Some additional enrichment lectures are also scheduled in this same area.

The Nieuw Amsterdam is a lovely ship is all other regards, but the "library" has now become only an afterthought.
