San Jose Art Market in Havana

Does anyone know if rum and / or cigars are sold at the big San Jose Art Market near the cruise terminal?  Other than souvenir tchotchkes, anything else of interest at at the Market?

 

I'm looking for a small original but reasonable piece of art (painting, sketch, etc); are there any specific areas of the market or vendors that you would recommend?

When you walk to the artisans' market you will pass by the Museo del Ron Havana Club where there is a store that sells rum and cigars. I don't remember anything like that in the market itself.

There are some cigars at the market but our tour guide told us to beware of counterfeit cigars there.

The market was so-so, a thousand people trying to sell you the same tee shirt and local art.

We bought our cigars and rum at the gift shops in the two forts during our tours.
