Arrival time to Seattle Pier?

Recommended Posts

We booked a fairly last-minute sailing on the Bliss out of Seattle, booking just 11 days before departure. Of course, that means nearly all the available reservations for restaurants, shows, etc. online are filled up. I know many are held back for onboard booking, but have also read many are completely gone by 1 PM the day of embarkation.

And of course, it also meant all the good arrival times were taken. Our options were 1:30 or 2 for a 3:30 sailing.

How tightly is the arrival time enforced with NCL at Seattle? I'd just like to have a shot at getting a couple of reservations, that is the only reason I am distressed about this late arrival time. I'd prefer to turn up around 10:30 from what I've read, if it isn't enforced.

You're supposed to be on board at least 2 hours before lines are thrown to allow for the muster drill to be held, are you sure about those times?

As the previous poster noted, show up whenever (within that at least 2 hours prior limitation) and you should be fine, as long as it's after the previous trip has finished disembarking.  Once you get on, find one of the touch-screens by the elevators and make your bookings, rather than waiting in line to make the booking with a human.

We were on the Bliss May 5-12. I booked the 10:30 arrival. No one verified that in any way at the port. Embarkation was super easy and quick. Our cabin was ready by noon and luggage arrived shortly after that. Very impressed!
