First time Diamond status question....

I am receiving Diamond status from my status on Celebrity Cruise Lines on our upcoming September cruise on Jewel of the Seas.

  I have several Royal Caribbean cruises but not quite Diamond status so it is because I am Elite on Celebrity. 

 

My husband is a few cruises behind me on Celebrity and is not an Elite. 

 

SO... how is that handled when one person in the room is getting Diamond status.  Does your spouse receive it also, and do we both get to go 

to the Diamond lounge and receive the drinks, or will it only be me.

I know on Celebrity he is also given the Elite status, but not sure how RCCL handles this.      

 

Anyone in this situation and can give me a idea of what will happen?

Call Crown & Anchor and ask them to link your husband to you so you will have the same C&A level.

 

If you don't do this, your husband will not have access to the Diamond Lounge as Royal does not confer C&A perks based on sharing a staterooom.

I did as you suggested, and they already have him as Diamond Status too so we must be linked. 

He will be glad to know.  LOL   He always says he is riding on my shirt tails.
