Thank you for this.... I'd originally had our PCC book us in a regular balcony based on availability I saw online.  After reading your post I decided to give him a call and he did in fact find one for us.  We are now booked in our first angled balcony!  🤗

Yay! You will get addicted to having a lounge chair out there. BTW, if for some reason there isn't a lounge chair out there on the first day, just leave a note for your room steward and they will make it happen.

been using my PCC for @5 yrs now, Never any glitch in booking cabins or decks. SDP and Lattitude dinners , as well as some shows ...Got a phonecall about a month ago that I was now receiving an additional cruise perk , above the 3 that I requested at the time of booking..

5 years ago he helped me with all my on-board bookings for a family cruise and I Never used him for the actual cruise booking !!!  He has gotten now 5 cruises since then,,,, I'll keep him

Hi - what's the benefit of having an NCL personal consultant? One called and I told him that I prefer to be able to talk to anyone/use the website to make my own changes, but after we hung up, he emailed me and apparently assigned himself to me anyway. Is there any benefit to this? I feel like if i need to make a change that I now need to speak to him only which might caused delay. what does he get out of this (commission?)  vs. what can he do for me that I can't do myself? Thanks!

When we ran into a problem with our reservation, our PCC baled on us. They are worthless. Eventually I called the CEO's office and got everything straightened out by one of Andy's crew.

I have had good luck with our PCC. He helps us with things like picking out angled balcony, transferring CruiseNext certificates to other family members, and answering all my questions.

He is very quick at responding and never pushes anything on us.

I've had PCC's with three different cruiselines including NCL.  Two "self assigned" (NCL and Carnival) after calling me unsolicited and one (MSC) was assigned to me after I reached her when I called the cruiseline to book a cruise.  My friend does have a PCC whom he finds to be very helpful but he and his wife are gamblers who spend a lot of money in the ship's casino. I think that is why their PCC is so accommodating.  That, unfortunately,  has not been the case with me.   My experience with PCC's has been that they were very enthusiastic and helpful with the process of booking the cruise but when I've called with subsequent questions or seeking assistance, the response has consistently been underwhelming.   In one instance a few months ago, I sought the PCC's help with a cabin change and waited 3 days for a response.  I finally received an email instructing me to call the cruiseline directly.  I also monitor price drops and special deals and call the cruiseline when there is a significant offer.  I've found that some lines instruct you to contact your PCC in such situations, meaning you have to wait for them to get back to you. And, sometimes you miss out because those price drops and deals are good for only a day or so.  Again, I am sure some PCC's are very effective but I've never received any sort of great price, credit, or information from a PCC that was otherwise unavailable.   I don't mean to impugn the effectiveness of all PCC's...some may be helpful for new cruisers.  However, as a veteran cruiser, I haven't experienced the purpose or value.

I guess we all have different opinions and needs. After 5 cruises under " our " belt , my phonecalls have always been responded to and questions always answered. Helpful in booking and reserving any additional needs for an upcoming cruise. I'm happy with mine....
