insilin in mexico

I am planning a cruise  and trying to do 2 things one is enjoy myself the second would be to find affordable Novolog Insulin for my dad . My dad is 74 yrs old and has a Insullin pump  which cost him about $600 a month  supply , On previose cruises i have asked at  ysg pharmacy and mega  while they have other insulins  not Novolog  , can any one help am i going to the wrong port ?

I would take a cruise that included one of the Canadian ports...  

Novolog, made by Novo Nordisk, who just had a big conference where I live, and all expenses were paid by the company.... As a diabetic, I feel for your dad.  I'm currently not  insulin-dependent, but that can change as my levels don't stay at lower levels. 

See if his physician can recommend another insulin - Novolog is one of the most expensive.  

Do an internet search of "Novolog discounts" - there are some places out there that can possibly help lower his costs,
