Vegan cruisers

Hi,

We are cruising next year with friends who are vegan. Would love to hear from anyone who has past experience of how well vegans are catered for on MSC or any advice to pass along to my friends.

Maitre D will no doubt be there 1st point of contact once they get on board.

Just to add we'll be on Grandiosa so I know a lot is still TBC regards speciality restaurants etc.

Have you friends fill out the Special Needs Form and list Dietary Requirements on page 2 to inform MSC.

it will advise the ship and cruise you are going on that the people concerned have these food requirements so that in the MDR they will be given food appropriate to there needs it will be cooked and prepared in a separate area of the kitchen

My husband and I are both vegan. When we sailed on the Norwegian Breakaway a few years ago, I met with the food director. It was hit and miss on what we were given to eat but we did get a few good meals. In fact, there was a vegan cake served to us one night that was the envy of everyone at our table.
