Hi- its our first time on Norwegian. Going on the Joy at xmas with kids and grandparents. What specialty restaurants would you recommend?

If you have 3 restaurants in your package, there is no charge at all for those 3?

Which restaurants can you eat outside on the deck with 6 people?

Thanks!

Le Bistro, Cagney's, Teppanyaki

There is no upcharge to eat at any restaurant. There may be specific menu items that come with an upcharge and that can be avoided.

Outside seating at Le Bistro, Cagney's, Ocean Blue, La Cucina. 6-top may be a little harder. We're on the Joy in a few weeks and will check it out. Al fresco dining may sound like a fun thing, but it is totally dependent upon the weather on the day you want to eat out. Hot, humid, windy, rainy all make dining outside problematic. The temps can be in the 80's and 90's in Mexico in December.

Cagney's (outdoor available), La Cucina, Le Bistro (outdoor available). I would only choose Teppanyaki if the kids are old enough and like that food for sure (otherwise you'll be visiting the buffet after) and no one has hearing aids/issues. It is very loud (louder than I remembered from the Pearl). Plus no outdoor seating available.

Outside seating is great except if there's wind. (It's protected from rain and there are heaters if it's cold) But you can't reserve specific tables in advance, so it's a gamble and depends on availability.
