Pre-Paid Phone Card?

I was thinking of giving pre-paid phone card to the cabin staff at Christmas on the Enchantment of the Seas. Being from Canada, where would I get them (leaving from Ft Lauderdale) as I have never bought them before. Do you buy International ones or are they for certain areas? Would the ones sold in the States be used in the Islands or do you have to buy them on the different Islands?
