Catamaran Snorkel trips

Does any one know of any good companies/boats that go out to snorkel spots. I don’t want to have to book through RCL.

We’ve not taken these but both are highly recommended - Look at Captain Pat and the Independence, If not available Catania.

 

We have been on the 65’ New Horizons schooner out of Sapphire Marina, they go out from 10 - 4 and often take day visitors (cruisers) out. The itinerary includes mooring off Honeymoon Beach in Solomon/Caneel Bay with a fabulous Italian lunch and their famous “Nooner” drinks. If there in good weather you can also dinghy to the beach if you want. Then anchor off Great St James before returning to the marina. Great day and vert inexpensive...check to see if anything has changed since Irma...they also offer day sails to the BVI as does another outfit if you have a longer port day but that is a little pricier due to higher customs fees..

Note that these are all mono hills and not cats but are highly recommended.

For cats look at Sweet Pea, we’ve not used them but have read good reviews...

I just got back, check One Love Charters. They were amazing!  They'll customize your trip, they can take up to 6 people and you get to go to snorkel spots that are either uncrowded or completely your own to explore.  We saw several rays, a barracuda and even a sleeping nurse shark.  I highly recommend them! Reasonable rates for your group and customized tours to St. John or even to the British Virgin Islands if you prefer. They'll recommend using Smile Taxi to get to the marina, her driver was great, she dropped us off and picked us up right at the marina, plus it was great not to have to wait for the safari buses to fill up.
