How to stay in contact with group

We'll be a group of 10 on board Harmony of The Seas. What is the best way to keep in contact with each other without buying wifi?

This is a long answer but it is what works for us. We travel with friends most of the time we cruise, as many as 12 sometimes. We find on spot on the deck above the pool deck on embarkation day. That spot becomes "our spot". For the rest of the cruise, when you want to hang out with the rest of the group, go to "our spot", there is almost always someone there. If you want to see what others have planned, go to "our spot" and ask. Our group always gets together at one of the bars for a pre-dinner drink. When the decision is made which bar, the word gets passed at "our spot". If one of the couples doesn't happen to show up at "our spot" after the decision has been made, we'll call their room and leave a message.

 

We all do lots of different things but it seems there is always someone at "our spot" to pass the word along.

I thought RCI was testing a free chat feature on Harmony and Allure? I speculate it'll come to Oasis for her dry-dock and Symphony soon after.
