Norwegian Sun 9/30-10/5 - Our Fall Break Cruise

Afterwards we went topside to check out the pool deck.  It was standing room only and they were doing the sexy man contest when we got there.

 

 

 

We then made our way to the room for some down time.

Up next was origami.  I thought it was going to be a demonstration but low and behold it was interactive.

Not feeling defeated I gathered the ladies and we had "Family Origami" in one of the lounges. We made the dragons (much better this go around) and other items I learned over the years.

Next it was time to pay the piper.  The girls were not letting me off this ship without getting their shopping in.

 

 

 

It always easy to smile while swiping the card when you don't have to worry about the bill!

 

Can we please leave here and get to the shop I wanna go to???

The little one read in the daily planner that they were having a Survivor Challenge in the Kids Club and she wanted in.  Mama and I had dinner reservations at the Steak House later in the evening so I took her to get some sushi before dropping her off on Survivor Island.

Mama and I hit the comedy show and then headed topside for our dinner reservation.  The comedian was just so-so.  We ended up leaving part way through the show.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It always amazes me how hard the wind blows when we are out at sea.

Onto the Meal.  The steakhouse had good vibe to it and the service was as to be expected.  The starters and mains were 100 but the sides left a little to be desired.  No biggie as we were stuffed from the other food anyway. 

 

So you saw the Cookie The Size Of Your Head back in Key West.  I would like to introduce you to the Wine Glass As Big As Your Face!

Full as ticks we usher our way across the top deck to nab the little one before they start charging us to watch her. There was a so-so 80's dance party going on.

Sadly, she did not enjoy herself at the Kids Club.  This was an absolute first for her.  No fear, Daddy knows how to make it better.  Arcade Time!  Every cruise we have a family arcade challenge.  I have never loss before and did not plan to get taken down on this day.

 

As we walked back through the 80's party things had ticked up a bit.

 

 

 

Now it's time to get down to business! - Mama is all the way in hair tied back and all.

Afterwards we went to the sports bar for the little one to get a late night snack.  Between kids club and the arcade that sushi had burned off.

I must give Norwegian a big plus on this day.  When we woke up we had all intentions of vegging out by the pool.  As you can see we never ever suited it because our day ended up being so full.  The events they had planned were lo-key but they were enough to keep us interested.  Big Ups to them especially being that this was a smaller vessel with limited things to choose from.  Now if only the main events in the theater could have been more interesting......

Hello Nassau!!!

 

Today we did not have anything booked but I had my heart set on taking the horse and buggy tour around downtown.  

 

I got up early and enjoyed sailing into the harbor.

This was an early port time but the girls did not have any trouble getting up at em.  

 

 

 

I don't know if it was because it was so early or if people just were not interested in porting in Nassau but the buffer was empty.

Had no trouble getting off the ship either.

The little one was excited as usual and was talking our heads off.

Once we made it though the various vendors I walked up to the horse guy and promptly signed us up.  The guide was friendly but he spoke really fast so it was hard to understand what he was saying most of the time.  Either way the tour was nice and he even went off route to take us by the Queen Staircase.
