St Lucia 2PM-8PM

We are booked on a cruise in February that has changed the itinerary so we are now only in St Lucia from 2PM-8PM.  St Lucia is the port we are most looking forward to visiting on this cruise.  Is it better to visit St Lucia during the day as in February once we got off the ship after docking at 2PM we would only have a few hours left of daylight.  Would this be enough time to go to the Pitons, etc? Is there anything to do there after the sunset? We are still before final payment so have the option to cancel and switch to a different cruise.

Consider s sunset sail cruise! Cruise the coast all the way to the Pitons, enjoy some snacks and drinks, take in the beautiful coastline and such.

You could do a trio down to the volcano, mud baths and Pitons, you'd make it before sunset if you left right away, but sun sets around 5:15/5:30, and it's dark dark right away.  So, you'd only have about 2-2.5 hours tops to enjoy. Spectacular sunsets down there though

Otherwise, yeah - it's a tough combo of hours, for sure.  If there's a different cruise  that suits you also, and has the full day here, that may be a better option. But you could still really enjoy St Lucia, even witj such off hours..
