refrigerators

We are booked on the Zaandam in an outside cabin (no balcony rooms except suite). We have been told that there are no refrigerators in those room. I have sailed on Holland some time ago and that was not the case. On all of the various ships we have sailed on they all had refrigerators. What is the problem with refrigerators on the Zaandam?

The Zaandam has a cooler in the balcony cabins only; inside and outside cabins do not. You can rent one for $2/day, if you want one. 

Having a fridge in every cabin is a feature that was introduced with the Vista class of ships. None of the S- and R-class ships has a fridge in the inside/outside cabins.
