fascination 5/10 Posted April 21, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2004 I know I've seen this info here, but now can't find the thread. Do you need to reserve in advance for the transfers from the airport to the port? There are two of us, and we hear a shared passenger van is the best (read cheapest!) way to go. Any advice would be appreciated! Fascination 5/12/
superjerryw Posted April 21, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2004 A taxi from Fort Lauderdale will be about $65. There is the Share-a-ride van operated by Tricounty Limo that is $15 per person. It's the cheapest wasy to go but the van may make several stops before yours so it could be a very long trip. You can also ask for a limo at the Tricounty kiosk outside the baggage claim area. They usually have them available and it is $55 to the Port of Miami. Donuts, is there anything they can't do....
Rare dickinson Posted April 21, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 21, 2004 There is also the transfers through Carnival. I think its about $16/person. You can either buy in advance or just find them outside the baggage area and purchase then. I have heard that they start loading the bus around 10:30-11:00 and leave when it is full. Then it drives directly to the port.
