graciegirl1 Posted November 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2019 (edited) I didn't realize that some of the activities require booking beginning 75 days prior to sailing and we are sold out of just about everything. Anyone know if there will be "openings" once onboard? Edited November 13, 2019 by graciegirl1

Anyone know if there will be "openings" once onboard? Activity reservations open at various times, depending on your Disney Castaway Club level. First time DCL cruisers cannot book things until 75 days out. Many of the onboard activities do have openings once onboard. Be aware you need to visit Guest Services fairly quickly upon boarding to book those. Port excursions, typically, do not have additional openings. Some excursions may have a wait list for cancellations, visit the excursions desk to check on that. One other thing, unlike most major cruiselines, DCL does not require payment for those activities/excursions at the time you make the reservation. So people will book things "just in case". Penalties apply to those reservations that are not cancelled in a timely manner (3 days prior to ship departure). Keep an eye on your activities page to see if anything opens up.
