Best way to get to Charlotte Amalie

Docking at Havensight dock and are interested in going into town and wander around. What is the best way for 2 to do this

There's a tram from port. Or you can walk.  Nice walk.  Or a taxi.

Is there a tram station at the port easy to find?

Last time We were there it picked up at Sr Frogs. In the parking lot. I understand SF has closed but maybe the teams work.

You will need to take a taxi. There is no tram to town.

Oh that's too bad.  But taxi is no problem.

Havensight has a shuttle that takes people from the ships to the shopping areas within Havensight. There is no fee for the shuttle but it's nice to tip the driver.

 

There are many open air taxis at Havensight and a few air conditioned vans. 

 

There is construction along the walkway to town from Havensight so the walk isn't as nice as it used to be and it's hotter because you're not walking along the water. 

 

There's also a new water shuttle that you can take to go from Havensight, to town, and to Crown Bay. It's called the Harbor Hopper and it leaves from the dock next to Yacht Haven Grande. $5 per person one way. Very nice ride!
