madnsneaky Posted December 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2019 My family and I are cruising from Sydney on P & O, we are flying in from Melbourne. We have transfers booked through P & O. When our cruise is over, our flight isn’t until 10pm. Does anyone know if we will have to take our baggage with us when we disembark or will P & O keep our bags at the port until we go to the airport. Just trying to see if we need to organise bag storage. Cheers

The ship will not hold things from departing passengers, and the cruise terminal is not a ship facility. They also won't hold your bags. If you are flying with Virgin you can check the luggage in with OACIS when you leave the terminal. They will not only hold it to your flight, but transfer it to your flight and arrange check in for you.

Thanks for your answer, we are leaving from White Bay terminal, do you know if there is baggage storage nearby? Thanks again
madnsneaky Posted December 16, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted December 16, 2019 Sorry, all is good, found something called Stasher, that has locations all over Sydney for $10 a day per bag. Thanks for your help. Cheers
The_Big_M Posted December 16, 2019 #5 Share Posted December 16, 2019 Just keep in mind whether you want to return to White Bay to pick up the bags and head to the airport, or if it would be better to taken them with you and 'stash' them somewhere closer to where you're spending the rest of the day. There isn't a lot in the White Bay vicinity to spend the rest of the day on.

Also no Stasher sites near White Bay 🙄
