cruiselover48 Posted December 23, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 23, 2019 Hi everyone we are longtime RCCL cruisers taking our first NCL on Encore in May. Trying to figure out what time to get to the port as we have no status with NCL. Thanks so much for your help and Happy Holidays to everyone. Looking forward to trying something new
smplybcause Posted December 23, 2019 #2 Share Posted December 23, 2019 Depends what you want to do. It's very similar to how Royal boards. If you get there later, say after 1, you can walk right on board and the rooms will either be open or will be very shortly. You can get there quite early to get a low boarding number and be on right after those with status to board early. The busiest time probably starts around 12. I got there around 1130 and there were a bit of lines and we still waited for a bit after checking in until our boarding number was called. Looking forward to trying something new Priority boarding starts around 11:00. General boarding before 11:30. We show up around 10:15 to avoid the crowds at security and checkin. Times on your edoc are not enforced. Have a great cruise! You can get a peek at the Encore and the NCL daily compass (freestyle daily) from my live post from the Encore below Edited December 24, 2019 by BirdTravels
