Ernstmfg Posted January 17, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2020 Don’t understand free or reduced airfare. When I put in the departure city it comes up $499. Is that a credit or do I have to book thru them. I prefer todo my own booking.
Lou33 Posted January 17, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2020 You have to book through them. They will normally select flights about 60 days before your departure, around the time that your edocs are available. I doubt if you will be able to change the flights that they give you. I can tell you that at least in our case, they gave us excellent flights, and we saved about $1,000 vs. booking flights on our own.
smplybcause Posted January 17, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 17, 2020 (edited) Free or reduced air means NCL books your flight for you. If there's a cost shown that's the reduced price you will have to pay for the flights. All you can do is choose the day you fly in and out. You can fly in up to 2 days early and fly out up to 2 days after at a cost of $25pppd. The deviations have to be made before NCL tickets your flights. While NCL says they'll try to have as few connections as possible, there's no way to ensure you'll be on a non-stop/the least amount of stops possible. There's also no way to choose what time of the day you will fly. All NCL will guarantee is that your scheduled arrival time at your destination is sometime during the 24 hours of the day of your choosing.
